Rainer passes through CP4

Rainer has just got to the 46.4 mile point in 8 hours. So The Machine will be finishing his 8th consecutive day in under 10 hours if he continues at that pace.
To enhance the competition between him and Tom we have just been debating whether we should introduce a mandatory litre of custard for him to drink at each checkpoint! It wasn't a popular suggestion so I guess we will have to put up with another sub-10 tomorrow...

    Tim E says fill Rainers trousers with custard! He says good luck to both men and they are both stars. Tim is feet up, by the fire, snoozing, eating and drinking tea
