Whilst Tom was battering his way to CP1 in horrendous rain, Rainer was tucking into his second huge bowl of porridge... how the other half live eh? Both runner's trainers are only lasting a few days now but then what would you expect from 60 miles of hard running on the open road... there's a real gap in the market here perhaps?
It's a shame as last year we had such great weather and Rainer's already got the idea that it always rains in the UK... although I too am starting to believe it.
